We help organizations and individuals build relationships, institute change and improve productivity through effective face-to-face and online communication.  Our specialty is focused on being educated professionals in technology, mobility, media, and delivering solutions tied to your culture to achieve your goals.  Frequently we have found that the goals expressed do not equate to plans and actions in place.

A bit about the founder:

Ryan Miller at a young age was a self starter.  In his tween years he lived within biking distance to a local mall (7 miles each way).  At age 13 he began scooping ice cream and realized that a greater need existed beyond filling customers cones with agitated milk products.  Taking the initiative he began providing handyman services to local retail merchants (changing lamps, vacuuming, receiving goods).  He quickly realized that solving problems had greater financial return for both those he provided service and to him personally.

This awareness was a combination of both genetics and a willingness to learn combined with a high risk tolerance.  These features reflect a consistent thread through Mr. Miller’s entire career path.  The list of his accomplishments are diverse and are often difficult to even understand.  But this creative thread has been a catalyst of his success as a serial entrepreneur, patent holder, and creative thought leader.

One particular client said it quite succinctly.

“Mr. Miller has the unique gift of being able to identify limitations, exploit competencies, protect value, create competitive barriers, while bringing a revitalized energy to any organization willing to challenge traditional thought.”      – Jeff Lyon (President, Your Eco Solutions)

Unsolicited Opinion – Drawing of a line.

The following quote has been attributed to Albert Einstein.  “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.”

The major obstacles which delay the ability to embrace change, or external creative input are based upon a core emotion of fear.  Phd. Karl Jung would attach this emotion as a subset of the ever present Ego.  A consistent tread of successful organizations and leaders is that they are aware of the limitations encumbered by the influence of their own ego and the ego of others.  Release of the ego from the decision making process is one of the greatest challenges.

The name of our company is MeritOpus for a reason, it means to reward success.  Success can be realized right out of the gate when those either in leadership or in the power of making a decision can acknowledge a couple of things:

  • They don’t know everything that their is to know.
  • People exist which are brighter and with more experience.

We don’t claim to represent these qualities to your particular organization.  However, our depth of experience, relationships, partnerships may deliver these attributes.

On the other side of the equation if you feel you know everything and have explored every knowable option, then we are not the right partner.
